Menu publishing and menu activation #
There is an important difference in terminology between ‘publishing’ a menu and ‘activating’ a menu:
- When a menu is ‘published’ to our system it is stored under your account on our system. Publishing does not mean it is visible to your customers.
- When a published menu is ‘activated’ it becomes visible to your customers.
Published menus can be activated or deactivated in the My Menus section. Find the menu in the Completed Menus table and check the checkbox to activate or uncheck the checkbox to deactivate.
Menu activation limits #
Menu Guide caps the number of active menus that your account can have at any one time. This maximum number is shown in your account statistics area in the My Menus section.
If you exceed the maximum number of live menus and try to activate a menu you will not be able to.
Contact your account administrator or open a ticket to ask for your account cap be raised.
