Locking menu items allows you to control access to certain menu items preventing accidental editing.

By default, certain menu items created from imports are locked and require a confirmation before they can be edited.

You can manually lock menu items by clicking on the padlock icon on the item’s tool strip. This will restrict access to that particular menu item.
